Who We Are
KONSO News is a pioneer, internet based news and media network with the purpose of sharing a balanced and fact based news about Konso and from Konso to the world. We focus on the politics, culture, and economic development related issues of the Konso People of South Ethiopia. In addition to Presenting fact based daily news on week days, from Monday to Friday; we also host discussion forums on a variety of topics related to the Konso People of Ethiopia.
Vision of Konso News
Our Vision is to see free expression of ideas and discussions on the societal issues of the Konso people flourish, among the political leaders, educated elite of the Konso People and the rest of the society. We promote freedom of expression and free exchange of opinions, which we believe to be a corner stone of democracy, civilization and human progress in general. We envision seeing all educated people of Konso to be able to freely express their opinions when it comes to the leadership, the economic development and cultural development of the Konso People.
Mission of Konso News
As our mission, we are committed to presenting fact based news about political, cultural and developmental issues of the Konso people; presenting unbiased news on sectors of the government of Konso Zone Administration; making the work of the Konso Zone government administration public to the Konso People; promoting the culture of the Konso People; and hosting dialogue and discussions on political, cultural, administrative and developmental issues or challenges facing the Konso People.
We belief in transparency of government work and therefore, committed to helping the government officials to be transparent with regard to the public work they engage in as their duty.
ስለ እኛ
ኮንሶ ዜና፣ ስለኮንሶ እና ከኮንሶ የሆኑ መረጃዎችን በእንተርኔት አማካይነት ለዓለም ማሰራጨትን ዓላማው ያደረገ የመጀመሪያው የዜና ተቋም ነው። ፖለቲካዊ፣ ማህበራዊ፣ ባህላዊና የኢኮኖሚ ልማት ጋር የተያያዙ የኮንሶ ጉዳዮችን ትኩረት አድርጎ ይዘግባል። በሥራ ቀናት በየቀኑ ከሰኞ እስከ ዓርብ ከሚያቀርባቸው ሚዛናዊና ሐቅን መሠረት ያደረጉ ዜናዎች በተጨማሪ በተለያዩ የኮንሶን ህዝብ ጉዳዮች ላይ ውይይቶችን ያደርጋል።
የኮንሶ ዜና ራዕይ
ራዕያችን በኮንሶ ማህበራዊ ጉዳዮች ላይ የሚደረጉ ሀሳብን በነጻነት የመግለጽና ነጻ ውይይት በኮንሶ አመራር፣ የተማረው የማህበረሰብ ክፍል እና በተቀረው ህዝብ መካከል ሲያብብ እና ሲስፋፋ ማየት ነው። ሀሳብን በነጻነት መግለጽን እና አመለካከትን በነጻነት መለዋወጥን እናበረታታለን፣ እናስፋፋለን። በአጠቃላይ ሀሳብን እና አመለካከትን በነጻነት መያዝና መግልጽ የዲሞክራሲ፣ የሥልጣኔ እና የተራማጅነት የማዕዘን ድንጋይ ነው ብለንም እናምናለን። ራዕያችን ሁሉም የተማሩ የኮንሶ ልጆች ስለኮንሶ አመራር፣ የኢኮኖሚ ልማትና የባህል ልማት፣ ሀሳባቸውን እና አመለካከታቸውን በነጻነት ሲገልጹ ማየት ነው።
የኮንሶ ዜና ተልዕኮ
ተልዕኳችን ሐቅ ላይ የተመሠረቱ ዜናዎችን ስለኮንሶ ህዝብ የፖለቲካ ሥርዓት፣ ባህል እና የልማት ጉዳዮች ማቅረብ፤ ያልተዛቡ ዜናዎች ስለኮንሶ ዞን መንግሥት አስተዳደር የተለያዩ ሰክተር መሥሪያ ቤቶች ማቅረብ፣ የኮንሶ ዞን መንግሥት የሚሠራውን ሥራ ለኮንሶ ህዝብ ግልጽና ይፋ ማድረግ፤ የኮንሶን ህዝብ ባህል ማስፋፋትና ማሳደግ፣ እንዲሁም የኮንሶን ህዝብ በሚገጥሙ ፖለቲካዊ፣ ባህላዊ፣ አስተዳደራዊ እና ልማታዊ ጉዳዮችና ተግዳሮቶች ላይ የውይይት መድረኮችን ማዘጋጀት ነው።
በመንግሥት ሥራ ግልጸኝነት ስለምናምን፣ የኮንሶ ዞን መንግሥት ባለሥልጣናት የኃላፊነት ተግባሮታቸውን በሚወጡ’በት ጊዜ በፍጹም ግልጽነት እንዲያደርጉ እነሱን ለማበረታታት ቁርጠኝነት አለን።
